Based between our flagship design studio in Toronto, Canada, with a craft workshop in Accra, Ghana, we respond to the growing demand for sustainable, high-quality products. Our handwoven baskets are eco-friendly, ethically made, and crafted to tell stories to consumers who value sustainability and ethical production. By partnering directly with smallholder farmers and skilled artisans, we create high-quality basketry that offers value through both craftsmanship and social responsibility.

We echo the language of creation by transforming raw materials into objects of eternal beauty, function, and legacy, crafting time-honoured basketry that reflects the divine principles of the harvest, sustainability, and reverence for the origins of all things.

In partnership with artisans, we design and co-create baskets with artisans who are more than Makers, they are the Keepers of Legacy™.

Serving as a bridge between cultures, we unite people across continents through basketry that is as rich in dignified impact as it is in design.

Our Devotions

Woven Worldwide has found the balance between processes that enable an unpretentious, democratic luxury - one that seeks to slow the fashion cycle, a luxury that focuses on season less design, origin craftsmanship and works to increase the integrity of our home décor choices and the skilled people who craft them - by working closely with intergenerational, artisan families.

We introduce new products in conjunction with the harvest season in Northern Ghana. During this stage, the reeds transforms from fine, pale green, mustard to a raw honey hue into what we all recognize as traditional elephant grass.

We opt to create in small batches, for durability while favouring timeless elements that will add longevity to your home's décor.
